What a glorious day! The nerves of meeting new people was somewhat subsided the night before at the social gathering at the local pub, and yet, preparing for the introduction of myself with my newly painted tree created a curious anxiety in my body. What would they think of me? Do I dare fully be myself?
I decided to take things to a spiritual level, as I strongly feel that I have been brought to this world to “Inspire and be Inspired” through storytelling, music and rhythm. So I went first, and guided the group through a visual journey to the roots of my tree, to see my ancestors. I found that only having 5 minutes to share my story was just scratching the surface, but I managed to create a well rounded picture with “Performative Inquiry” (Which you will hear more about in coming blog posts.)
This was a glorious day. Who would have thought I could be going to school in such an inspirational place, where we get to be outside daily, have conversations with inspiring and motivated individuals, and step forward from my pursuit of awareness, to a pursuit of Mastery.
Socrates would be proud of me!
