Daily Learning Journal June 26

June 26th, 2013

Well, I guess it isn’t exactly Daily yet.  I am still getting into the routine of not only plugging in, in the morning and at night, but also intentionally making time to do my homework and make sure that I am on track.

I am reading “Ecological Identity” by Michell Thomashow for my EEC 500 class, and I am finding it interesting how I can re-invent myself while in Nature.  Allowing my ecological surrounds to influence me and where I choose to be.  What a revelation… I don’t need to be cooped up inside, on a computer or at TV, I can learn by nature. Wahoo!

Tomorrow I am painting a cave display at the Rathtrevor Nature House, and hope to leave the Van Tour planning as ready as it can be in my absence.  I look forward to this residency, and to meeting my cohort.  What does that mean anyway, and why is it so exciting.  I guess we will soon find out!
